About Me

Born at the tail end of the 1980s, I've resided in Virginia Beach my entire life. I graduated from Kempsville High School before ultimately obtaining my bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University. Between stints in IT, I've spent my time as a freelance web and graphic designer for clients of all industries.

Being immersed in computers began in the mid '90s when my granddad purchased a Packard Bell from a neighbor. With the rise of the internet, we soon had a custom built PC ready for fast, reliable dial-up! It was then that web design became a hobby, and in fifth grade I had created my first personal website after learning HTML.

Around the same time frame, music became an obsession for me when we dug out my mom's turntable from the attic, complete with gems from the bygone '70s such as the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and a 45 of Elton John's "Crocodile Rock." From that point on, my passion for music only grew, and I found myself spending any spare time I had listening to records and traveling to concerts. Matchbox Twenty and Rob Thomas hold the record for me, with a combined 14 shows among 3 states and counting. To the right and below you'll find a few encounters with some of my favorite artists.

When I'm not building and enjoying my record collection (currently over 500 records), I'm playing guitar, which has been a cornerstone of my life for over 20 years.

No stranger to the punk scene, I also believe it's important to be an activist for causes you care deeply about. Over the last decade, I've become an advocate for no-kill animal shelters across the country, and I strongly urge you to get involved with your local shelters.
